Getting to Aspen/Snowmass

The closest airport is Aspen/Pitkin County Airport, which is 15-minutes from the conference venue, the Viceroy Resort in Snowmass Village. The Viceroy offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport.  Alternative airports include Eagle County Regional Airport (1.25 hours) or Denver, a 4-hour scenic drive away. Once you're here, no car is necessary. Aspen/Snowmass and the Roaring Fork Valley have an excellent transit system as well as taxis and rideshares. All conference activities will be within walking distance or transportation will be provided. Meal and entertainment options are plentiful in Snowmass Village, and even more so in the City of Aspen, which is accessible by a free, high-frequency bus line.

Cultural amenities include the Aspen Art Museum, the Wheeler Opera House, and the John Denver Sanctuary.  And, of course, virtually every type of outdoor recreation can be had, with a trail system second-to-none in North America.
